I was blown away by how well the product is packaged and how impressive it looks! It has a very thick outer shell, the top and bottom of which are encased by dark grey thick plastic and the Star Wars logo is embossed in large lettering on top which makes it look awesome! I shouldn’t be so surprised as this officially licensed product is manufactured by Hasbro who are one of the top toy manufacturers in the world.
This D-O droid can be controlled using the free app which needs to be downloaded onto a smart device.
It has a self-balancing wheel, a moving head and antennas, light-up LED eyes and sound effects. The droid also has several different modes of play including follow mode, guard mode, chase mode and even a high alert alarm mode! When this mode is selected, and the ball controller is pressed three times the droid will sound an alarm!
This Star Wars droid also comes with a docking station where it can be displayed and charged when it is not in use. Its authentic look makes it look great on any shelf! Also included with this droid (and docking station) is a USB charge cable, a ball controller, and an instruction manual.
This droid is inspired by the little roller droid from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Cobbled from odds and ends in the workshop of a droidsmith!
